At White Rock UMC, we believe that our children have so much to offer the church, and each child can teach us new things about God. With diverse programming for all ages, we strive to create an environment in which every child and youth knows they are loved by us and loved by God. We hope to cultivate the spirituality each child and youth already has and help them find ways to use their unique gifts in the life of the church. Come join us!
Youth Ministry Opportunities
YOUTH GROUP
The weekly Youth Group is a chance to take a deep breath. Here there is no expectation of being something you’re not. It is a place to just be. 6th-12th graders are invited to join us as we check in and develop friendships that point us back to Christ. We meet every Sunday evening, from 6:30-8pm.
Sunday Morning
We believe youth are a vital part of the life of the church. As such, youth are invited to join an adult Sunday School class that appeals to them or join in on volunteering in the kids' classrooms.
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation is a chance for tweens to take their faith to the next level through intentional education and experiences. Over the course of 12 weeks, students will dive deeper into the history, practices, and beliefs of the Christian faith from a United Methodist perspective. At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to participate in a Confirmation Service during worship where they will confirm their faith and join as members of the United Methodist Church.
